The Eco-Insulation agents conference in Gauteng was attended by almost all of the company's installers nationwide and Botswana. Cecil Homan is flanked by more than 20 agents who represent the brand across our region.
Agencies still available !
Eco-Insulation, the manufacturer and marketer of sustainable cellulose fibre ceiling insulation, recently held a national installer agent convention in Gauteng. According to Richard Ellis, who chaired the convention, matters under discussion included fine-tuning the group's product and service offering in line with the new building energy standards and responding to the escalating energy price crisis. These place Eco-Insulation in a unique position as a national supplier of 100% recycled cellulose based, locally sourced thermal insulation. “Eco-Insulation is an active member of the Green Building Council of SA”, he said.
“Another good example of our successful conferencing was an extensive discussion that we held as a group about different methods of controlling downlighter fire risk in ceilings. Downlighter fire hazards presented by the incorrect application of building materials are a source of concern to our professional association, TIASA (Thermal Insulation Association of South Africa). Eco-Insulation has recently introduced a special cone-like object that protects downlights and transformers from being accidentally covered in insulation during installation.", says Ellis. Eco-Insulation installers are located in designated areas around South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. Installer service is hence available in most regions, in line with their designated agency agreements with the manufacturer. “Eco-Insulation agencies are still available in certain areas, however, and interested parties with the expertise, business acumen and startup funding should contact me directly”, says founder, Cecil Homan.
